The Chimichurri Steak Sandwich is back!
It’s hard to believe that it’s already October. People are finally returning from their summer vacations, kids are back in school and the evenings are becoming cooler. It’s a perfect time for us to celebrate a updated old favorite, our Chimichurri Steak Sandwich.
We updated our Chimichurri recipe to be a little closer to the classic Argentinian recipe of finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, oil, and red wine vinegar. Our version also includes a touch of lime juice for a rounder acidity, as well as a tiny bit of mayonnaise that helps keep the sauce emulsified and creamy, making it a more appropriate sauce for our sandwiches.
Our Chimichurri is paired with our Cranberry Aioli, which offers a creamy sweet counterpart to the herby, tart Chimichurri sauce. Along with the savory Tri Tip, spicy and bitter Arugula and creamy Feta, we believe that our updated Chimichurri Steak will not only satisfy fans of the previous version, it will attract a new batch of fans who appreciate the boldness of the flavors.
We hope you are as excited about our updated version as I am!
