Menifee Opening Includes Charitable Giving!
Giving back to the community is one of our core values and one of my favorite parts of my job. Last week we were able to make a connection with many residents of Menifee by welcoming them into our new restaurant. Our soft opening parties were a great success as we welcomed over 1,000 new guests into the restaurant. In partnership with Oak Grove Center, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Inland Valley, and Canine Support Teams we were able to raise $2,926, and with our owner Tom’s match that brings us to $5,852!
It’s moments like this that make me extremely proud to work for a company that cares so much about giving to the community and to see how the community supports us in return.
About the charities:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Inland Valley (AKA The Boys & Girls Club of Menifee Valley) opened its doors to its Menifee Clubhouse in June of 2014 and has since strived to fulfill its mission to provide a safe, positive, and affordable place for children, especially those who are at risk, to reach their full potential as caring, productive and responsible citizens.
Founded in 1989, Oak Grove Center serves at-risk and special needs youth through Residential Care, Education and Treatment. Oak Grove works with children and teens struggling with mental health and behavioral problems, and special needs such as Autism. Their intensive therapeutic programs offer healing and hope through art, music, sports, recreation, socialization and vocational training. They believe that “the work we do today builds a better tomorrow.”
Since 1989, Canine Support Team’s mission has provided specially trained dogs to persons with disabilities to support their personal, social, and occupational independence.
